Under the theme Agro Eco-Tourism, HEART Trust/NTA will showcase its commitment to agriculture at the annual JAS Denbigh Agricultural Festival this year. The HEART booth will feature products and hospitality services from its Ebony Park trainees as well as an interactive experience with several Try-A-Skill activities.
Products to be displayed will include decorative plants grown in the ornamental farming program, a wide variety of food crops, and pedigree livestock such as goats and cows.

Attendees will also participate in a new session this year which focuses on the emerging Latin American market and its role in the growth of Jamaica’s tourism.

The Jamaica Tourist Board, along with Al Roker Productions and WE tv, hosted the New York City premiere of the new travel special ‘First Ladies Tour’ featuring Jamaica on Tuesday, March 2, 2009 at the Helen Mills Theater. The audience watched with excitement as journalist Deborah Roberts enjoyed a VIP tour of the island led by Mrs. Lorna Golding, wife of Jamaica’s Prime Minister the Hon. Bruce Golding.

The event, which takes place on Saturday, December 6, 2008, will be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, LaGuardia Airport in Queens, NY, starting at 9:00 pm.
