“REAL MAN THINGS” TO CAUSE A STIR ON LOCAL RADIO

realmenthing1Kingston, Jamaica – October 12, 2009: “Real Man Things”, a vibrant, exciting radio show that deals expressly with men’s issues, is set to take the local media landscape by storm when it debuts in October. This will be the first radio programme that speaks specifically to male related issues.

The new show will seek to go beyond masculine posturing and bravado to engage Jamaican men, at home and throughout the Diaspora, in honest conversation about the challenges they face as they struggle to cope in a society where they are becoming increasingly marginalised.

On Wednesday, March 25, 2009, a most unfortunate and regrettable incident took place at one of my properties which doubles as a home and studio.

In their search for a person, three policemen were shot and injured and the person killed. I totally abhor such a gruesome and deadly act that occurred at my place, which is revered as a holy sanctuary.
