NEW YORK, NY July 3, 2008 –Joining the Fight against AIDS this Sunday July 6th for the Carifest C.A.R.E.S AIDS Awareness benefit Concert for Keep A Child Alive will be Yami Bolo Unplugged coming too sing songs of Peace, Love and Freedom. NEW YORK, NY June 30, 2008 - Carifest C.A.R.E.S.to be held Sunday, July 6th at the USTA National Tennis Center: Arthur Ashe Stadium in Flushing Meadows Park, Queens, NY is having an Independence Day blow out – Tickets will be 50% off from July 1st til July 4th at Ticketmaster.com: CODE – BJULY. When asked at last week’s Carifest CARES (Compassionate Artists Recognizing Entertainment Solutions) press conference what Carifest meant to him, Eek-A-Mouse replied. “It doesn’t mean (expletive) to me” He then changed the subject entirely and went off on a tirade, dissing all the “white people who control reggae, like Ace Of Base, Matisyahu, (whose name he repeatedly mispronounced and called Matissaweh), Sean Paul and Shaggy; bitterly blaming them for his inability to get signed by a major label. He even he included the late, great, reggae founder Bob Marley in his racist rant, citing that he had a white father. |
