KINGSTON, March 16, 2010: The Small Business Association of Jamaica (SBAJ) will present the first of its BRUNCH ‘N’ TALK series on Sunday, March 28, from 11:30am to 2:00pm at the Knutsford Court Hotel in New Kingston.
Keynote speaker, Earl Jarrett, General Manager of Jamaica National Building Society, will speak about the growth and expansion of his organization into a transnational entity, and give valuable tips on operating a successful business enterprise.
President of SBAJ, Dalma James, explained that the BRUNCH ‘N’ TALK series is “a necessity for business persons who are serious about pursuing financial stability and personal contentment by way of their passions and talents.”
“The event is expected to be an enriching experience, presenting opportunities for young and aspiring entrepreneurs as well as senior management and current business people to move towards economic recovery and stability,” he declared.
Among those invited to attend is Mr. Reginald Budhan, Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Industry, Investment and Commerce.
“This SBAJ BRUNCH ‘N’ TALK comes at a time when the government’s strategies are focused on supporting small business as a means of improving the economy,” stated Sandra Lloyd, Chair of the SBAJ Public Relations Committee, adding, “Jamaican entrepreneurs need to seize the opportunities presented to them and the first step to achieving that goal is getting the right information.”
Conceptualized by SBAJ Director, Miss Gale Peart, BRUNCH ‘N’ TALK will also showcase unique and outstanding products and services from SBAJ member enterprises.
The event promises to be an all round an enriching experience, with live music, and, recognizing that it’s a family day there will be activities for children.
