Grace Foods, the title sponsor of the “ISSA/GraceKennedy Boys’& Girls’ Championship games is awarding J$70,000 to local high school Sports departments through a social networking contest at www.likeachampion360.com. The online site, powered by GraceKennedy, was launched in February 2009 and it’s the first social networking site where Caribbean Sports Champions meet Caribbean Sports Fans Worldwide. The site allows users to join fan groups of their favourite athletes, sport, high school or college; post videos, share photos, start or comment on heated discussions in forums, and receive daily news updates on local, regional and global sporting events.
Rules of the Competition…
1. The contest begins March 16th, 2009. Winners will be announced on April 4th, 2009 during the final day of the “Champs”.
2. Everyone can participate! High school students, family, friends, coaches, teachers and alumni groups.
3. To participate, persons must visit the site, www.likeachampion360.com, register, and enter the name of the high school they wish to support in the “high school/alumni” box. The box is located on the sign up form. Only fully completed sign up forms are eligible for entry.
4. To be considered to win, each school must have at least 250 registered participants associated to their school. The school with the highest membership number above 250 will claim the First place prize.
5. Awards will be given to the Sports departments of the schools placing first, second and third.
Prizes
1. The First place winner will receive J$40,000
2. The Second place winner will receive, J$20,000
3. and the Third place winner receives, J$10,000.
