Mr Bertus aka Marlon Ainsworth, new releases ‘Trevor’ Island Fugitive Riddim and ‘Island’ on title Island Fugitive Riddim by ‘Fanton Mojah’ released on 18 August 2008 there is talks that this record is going to be a smash hit on the reggae scene. This record is currently been heavily rotated on the airwaves both in the UK and Europe.

Mr Bertus latest releases ‘Reckless Life’ on the Vertex Label and ‘Damage Eye’ on the Shore Jam Label is also been heavily rotated in the UK and Europe.
His global following of loyal listeners has created a strong fan base with consistent requests and feature play on radio stations in the US, UK, Europe, Australia, Canada and all over Africa.
Mr Bertus has been voted Artist of the month by UK’s Newstyle Radio Station who have invited him over to the UK to collect his Award. He was also voted Artist of the Month in Costa Rica, won the Roots 96 FM ‘What’s the Verdict’ Contest with Dudley Thompson for his tune ‘Reckless Life’. Africa is another hotbed of support for Mr Bertus tunes, wit ‘Reckless Life’ and ‘Damage Eye’ ripping the top ten charts.
Mr Bertus is generating huge amounts of interests in Europe, so much that European DJ’s come to the island to work on dubplates as well as receiving requests other parts of the world. Mr Bertus has also created Dubplates for the BBC all of which were warmly received.
Mr Bertus work spans the full generes of Reggae & Dancehall. Bertus first recorded with Clancy Eccles on the Surego Label. Known as a talented musical perfectionist behind the microphone, Mr Bertus has written well known songs for many popular Jamaican Artists, Producers and Studios.
