Jamwest Speedway, Westmoreland, will be the venue for this weekend’s SPEED MADNESS BIKE vs. CAR SHOW presented by TT Auto Parts of Negril. The event features champion USA stuntriders Kane Freisen, Jeff Schneider and Aaron Cline and Jamaica’s own amazing motorbike stuntrider’s plus a selection of the island’s fastest race cars.
The weekend long event kicks off with a Test & Tune Funday on Saturday, 4 October, allowing the general public a chance to test their cars & bikes on the track and enjoy food & refreshments. Those with the fastest times may elect to exhibit their speed in Sunday’s show. Sunday’s main event, 5 October, kicks off at 10am with live music and then follows with an exhibition of the fastest race cars on the island and later the topnotch stunt bike show. The day also features a bikini contest with a $100 USD prize, a raffle offering a motorcycle grand prize (proceeds benefiting a local charity), activities for kids and a never-ending supply of food & refreshment.
Jamwest has recently upgraded the venue with a new exit route and installed new timing equipment.
