July 18, 2008, Kingston, Jamaica: Dancehall artist Latifa Brown a.k.a TIFA, on the heels of her “Bottom of the Barrel” music video release, has embarked on her first European Tour. WASHINGTON, D.C. – In what is billed as “An Evening of Elegance,” reggae veterans John Holt and Winston “Merritone” Blake will headline a concert to celebrate Jamaica’s 46th anniversary at the swank Zanzibar Night Club. Washington, DC – The National Alliance Foundation, a non-profit network committed to promoting peace and harmony while raising funds and awareness for cancer,announced today plans for the First Annual Budweiser Reggae Summer Fest for Cancer Research reggae show. Don’t call it a comeback, I’ve been here for years! Over 15 years ago, the groundbreaking act Born Jamericans made their debut Kids from Foreign on Cali imprint Delicious Vinyl. Following this effort up with Yardcore, the group’s eclectic fusion of hip hop and dancehall was a bit before it’s time. |
