Write Visions Limited in association with Hands Across Jamaica For Righteousness (HANDS) launches Yvonne Coke’s second book entitled, Perspectives From The Jamaica MAP. This event will be held at the Pantry Garden, 4 Dumfries Road, Kingston 5 beginning at 6.00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 18, 2008. The guest speaker will be Bishop Joel Edwards, General Director of the Evangelical Alliance of the United Kingdom.
Perspectives From The Jamaican MAP promotes God’s vision for Jamaica as found in the National Motto, Anthem and Pledge (MAP). As Yvonne Coke continues her unapologetic campaign for the return of the values exposed in the MAP, the book taps into the thorough-going Judeo Christian ethic that is foundational to the MAP.
“Write Visions was borne out of the passion to make God’s vision clear to the nation of Jamaica so that she may make her impact on the whole human race as set forth in the national Pledge. The MAP is clearly a moral, social and spiritual plan for Jamaica. The explanation of this plan is analysed in the book,” said Yvonne Coke.
With foreword written by the Reverend Sam Vassell, and afterwords by The Most Honourable Sir Howard Cooke and Dr Henley Morgan, the book points to the fact, that despite the current grim looming over the country, Jamaica must fulfil her purpose as God’s will must prevail as eloquently communicated by the MAP.
Perspectives From The Jamaican MAP is the first book for the two year-old Write Visions Limited, a registered Christian publishing company.
