Anthony B’s Tease Her video added to Tempo’s regular rotation

Anthony BAnthony B is known for his conscious and roots offering. Last year stepped out of the box and delivered a chart topping single dedicated to the ladies, titled Tease Her. The song which went to number one in Jamaica also topped several reggae charts worldwide.

The video for Tease Her which was directed by Ras Kassa, has been added to regular rotation on Tempo.

His latest offering is a remake of the Rick Astley 1987 recording Never Gonna Give You Up. The song which features Jamaican dancehall artiste Singer J, is primed to become another hit for Anthony B.

Big tourism plan for eastern Jamaica

source:www.jamaicaobserver.com – An aerodrome equipped with immigration and customs departments to accommodate both international and domestic flights is to be built in Duckenfield, on crown lands bordering Portland and St Thomas, state minister in the office of the Prime Minister Daryl Vaz confirmed yesterday.

Vaz, who has responsibilities for project monitoring and implementation, explained that the development will consist of an 8,000-foot runway which will be ideal for private aircraft and 200-passenger commercial jets.

Six Jamaicans inducted into CAC Hall of Fame

A small gathering of Jamaica’s who’s who in track & field helped celebrate with six of the country’s top former athletes as they were inducted into the Central America and Caribbean (CAC) Hall of Fame at a function at the Hilton Kingston Hotel on Friday evening.

Olympic medallists Bert Cameron, Devon Morris and Winthrop Graham, who were members of Jamaica’s 4x400m silver medal-winning team at the 1988 Seoul Olympics; Barcelona 100m and 200m silver medallist Juliet Cuthbert; Rome Olympics bronze medallist George Kerr and 1984 4x100m relay silver medallist Raymond Stewart were joined by North America, Central America and Caribbean Athletic Confederation president Neville ‘Teddy’ McCook, Jamaica Amateur Athletic Association (JAAA) president Howard Aris, Olympians Vilma Charlton and Grace Jackson, and Jamaica Olympic Association (JOA) president and guest speaker Mike Fennell.

Morris, who has lived outside of Jamaica for atleast of 20 years, told the Observer he was humbled when he received the call that he was to be made a Hall of Famer.

The internet has grown significantly over the past 5 years.
