International Reggae artist Imanuel Walsh is is getting ready for the Japan release of his album “Deep Within”. It will be released in Japan on January 16, 2008 by Deaiki Sound Company through a joint venture distribution agreement between Imanuel’s Jah Seh So Imprint and Deaiki. Following the release of the album Imanuel will embark on a tour of Japan starting on February 15th. A documentary about Imanuel’s life and the making of “Deep Within” will be released in Japan on the 19th of November, to promote the the album before it is released in January. The documentary which was directed by Horace Shirley for Deaiki Sounds, will be released to television stations in Jamaica before the end of this month. The album is currently available in Jamaica through In Di Streets distribution and in America through Ernie B’s Reggae.
On the local scene Imanuel’s latest music video “Revolution” which features Uti Ras is getting a lot of airplay. It is currently at the top of the RE TV Video countdown. Fans can vote for the video on RE-TV by texting 33 to 444-2473 and on CVM TV’s E-Strip Hitlist by texting 45 to 444-2442
Imanuel is also booked to perform on one of Jamaica’s biggest events for the upcoming holiday season Sting 2007, which will take place on December 26th.
