Dubbed the “$2.99 Recession Special” for good reason…. the franchise chain is joining the cause to help customers keep money in their pockets by offering a “snacker” meal of curry or stew chicken served with rice & peas for under $3.

According to GK President & CEO Lowell Hawthorne, this promotion is well-timed, as customers become more discerning about where and how they spend the limited funds at their disposal. “Golden Krust wants to send a strong message that we are alert to the economic challenges being faced by our valued customers and that we are here to serve”, he said.

Now in its 20th year of operation, Golden Krust will also roll out another promotion in August this time on its #1 seller ….Beef Patty.
